How do I get CeylonLot for my parking operation?
CeylonLot is set up for councils and parking operators - there is no public sign-up. Tell us about your operation and we provision your account and your officers' sign-in IDs. Email hello@ceylonlot.com.lk or use the request-access form on the home page.
There's no sign-up button. How do officers get accounts?
Officers don't register themselves. Once your operator account is active, we issue each officer an Officer ID and password, which they use to sign in on the app. To add or remove an officer, contact us.
How do officers sign in?
In the CeylonLot app, an officer enters their Officer ID and password. The session stays signed in on the device so they don't have to log in every shift.
I forgot my password. What do I do?
Operators and administrators can reset their own password from the dashboard sign-in page using the "Forgot password" link - we email a reset link to the address on file.
Officers should ask their operator to reissue their password, or email hello@ceylonlot.com.lk.
How are parking fees calculated?
Fees are billed per hour in LKR from your operator's rate card, with a minimum fee floor. When a vehicle is checked out, the app computes the fee automatically from the elapsed time - the officer doesn't do the maths.
What payment methods can officers record?
Cash, card and digital payments. For online payments and monthly passes, drivers can pay through a secure link sent by SMS, processed by our payment gateway, PayHere.
Does the app work without a signal?
Yes. If a check-in happens while the phone is offline, it is queued on the device and synced automatically once the connection returns, so no vehicle is missed.
How do refunds work?
Refunds are handled per our Refund Policy. If you were charged in error, email hello@ceylonlot.com.lk with the transaction details.
